Who is responsible

Records on your device

Tiploom stores jobs, shifts, payments, unfinished drafts and preferences in its local app container. The developer does not operate a server that receives these records. The app has no account, advertising SDK, proprietary analytics or automatic app-managed cloud synchronization. Apple device backups may include its local files, according to your Apple settings.

The app keeps a previous saved ledger for recovery. If a file cannot be read, recovery preserves the original separately before replacement. These copies can contain older or deleted records. Removing an individual shift is not a promise that every recovery copy has been erased.

Optional automatic backups

With Pro or an active preview, you can choose a private folder in Files, including iCloud Drive, and explicitly enable automatic backups. Tiploom then writes separate JSON snapshots after saved ledger changes while the app is open. Snapshots contain saved jobs, shifts and payments, including workplace details and earnings. Drafts and preferences are excluded. Choosing a folder alone does not enable uploads.

Apple or your chosen Files provider manages storage, upload and access for that folder. A file saved into a folder is not necessarily uploaded to a server; the app distinguishes confirmed iCloud uploads from pending uploads and provider-managed files. The developer does not receive these snapshots. This feature restores selected snapshots and does not continuously synchronize ledgers between devices.

Turning automatic backups off or removing the app does not delete existing copies. Manage or delete them in Files. Use a private folder rather than one shared with others. Copies remain until you remove them and count toward your provider's storage.

Files you choose to share

CSV and PDF reports contain selected ledger records; JSON backups contain saved jobs, shifts and payments. JSON backups do not include unfinished drafts, reminder permissions or interface preferences. You choose a destination through Apple's share sheet. The receiving app or storage provider handles that copy under its own terms. Exported copies and device backups must be managed separately from the app.

Purchases and reminders

Apple processes purchases and refunds. Tiploom uses verified StoreKit transaction information to determine whether Pro is unlocked. We do not receive payment-card details or Apple Account credentials.

Reminders are optional local notifications. Permission is requested only when you enable them. Notifications do not contain your earnings or workplace name. You can turn them off in the app or system Settings.

Support

If you choose to contact support, the developer receives the message, address and attachments you send. Do not attach a full ledger unless you intentionally want to share its contents. Support correspondence is used to answer, troubleshoot, prevent abuse and maintain necessary business records; it is not used for advertising. The legal bases are steps to perform our agreement, our legitimate interest in customer support and security, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your choices

You can edit or delete shifts and payment records, export a copy, disable reminders or remove the app. Removing the app deletes its local container. It does not delete copies saved elsewhere or included in device backups.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information held in support correspondence, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or another competent authority where you live or work. Because the app does not send us your ledger or identify app users, we normally cannot retrieve app-local records.

Website

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes ordinary request information such as IP addresses, requested paths, timestamps, user agents and security signals to deliver and protect it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website. Provider logs are retained according to the provider configuration and deleted or aggregated when no longer reasonably necessary, unless an incident or legal obligation requires longer preservation. The website sets no developer cookies, runs no developer analytics, shows no advertising and has no contact form. The native app contains no developer tracking or advertising.

Service providers may process website delivery, business email and Apple distribution information on our behalf or as independent controllers. Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the responsible provider must rely on an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful mechanism.

Children and changes

Tiploom is not directed to children and the app does not send us personal information about its users. If its data practices materially change, this policy and its effective date will be updated before the corresponding version is released, with an appropriate app or website notice where required.

Complimentary Pro preview

If you start the 14-day preview, Tiploom stores its start time, most recent observed time and eligibility state in this device’s Keychain. This record contains no earnings data and is not sent to us or synchronized through iCloud. It may remain after an ordinary reinstall, but it is not guaranteed to survive a device reset or migration. A significant backward clock change ends the preview. Paid entitlement verification uses Apple StoreKit. No subscription starts when the complimentary preview begins.
